Protecting your privacy and personal data is of paramount importance to us. We collect and process your personal data in accordance with current legal provisions, namely those of the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018 regarding privacy and the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

Subject of our privacy policy

The subject of the privacy policy described below is the (hereinafter referred to as “the website”), an initiative by the company Clean Power SA.

By continuing to visit our website, you acknowledge that you have read our privacy policy and expressly agree to the collection and processing of your personal data as described below.

Our privacy policy in detail


1.1. The data controller

Clean Power is the data controller of your personal data. We determine what data is collected, the purposes for which it is processed and the technical and organisational resources for processing it.

1.2. The data processor

Clean Power is entitled to use one or more data processors. A data processor is the natural or legal person which processes your personal data at the request of and on behalf of Clean Power, the data controller. The data processor is required to ensure the security and privacy of your data and always acts on instructions from Clean Power.


We process your data on the following legal grounds:

  • the fulfilment of pre-contractual measures and the performance of the contract to which you are a party, with regard to the use and provision of our services.
  • the performance of the contract to which you are a party and pursuant to our legal obligations, with regard to the management of the contractual relationship and invoicing.
  • your consent to the sending of promotional offers (direct marketing).


The processing of your personal data is limited to that which is strictly necessary for the purposes specified by Clean Power (see Point 4 below). The following data is collected and processed:

  • Your first name, surname and address
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Information about to your connection (IP address, location, etc.).

We do not collect or process sensitive data under any circumstances.

This data is collected when you visit the website, fill in our contact form or contact us by email. Other personal data may be collected at a later date such as when fulfilling your order, for example. This data is necessary for the provision of our services.


We also use cookies to recognise users and provide them with a personalised user experience, remember their technical choices (such as the website’s language, for example) and detect and correct any errors on our website. Clean Power collects your personal data for the sole purpose of providing you with an optimal and personalised user experience. The processing of your personal data is required for the website to work properly and for the provision of our services. If this data is missing, incorrect or incomplete, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel certain operations.

Clean Power will only process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • to enable users to contact us and/or place orders on the website;
  • to enable the performance and provision of our services;
  • to manage contractual relationships;
  • to enable invoicing and account management;
  • to provide the user with a personalised service by sending newsletters, presenting personalised products, providing support and handling complaints;
  • to detect and protect users against fraud, errors and criminal behaviour;
  • to send you promotional offers if you have expressly consented to them (direct marketing). In this event, you are free to withdraw your consent at any time.

When you visit our website, certain data is collected for statistical purposes. This data is used to optimise your user experience. This includes your IP address, the geographical area from which you visit the website, the day and time of your visit and the pages visited. By continuing to browse the website, you expressly agree to the collection of this data for statistical purposes.


Your personal data is intended for internal use only. It will not be sold, given or passed on to third parties without your prior consent.

Furthermore, your personal data will not be shared outside the European Union.

Clean Power has taken all technical and organisational precautions to prevent a breach of your data. However, if such a breach should occur, Clean Power agrees to take all necessary measures to limit the damage incurred insofar as possible.


Your data will be kept for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it is to be used. It will be deleted from our database as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected or if you have legitimately exercised your right to erasure.


7.1. Guarantee of fair and lawful processing

Your personal data will always be processed in accordance with the legitimate purposes set out in Point 4. It is collected and processed in an appropriate, relevant and non-excessive manner and is kept for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it is to be used.

7.2. Right of access

If you are able to prove your identity, you have the right to obtain information about the processing of your data. You therefore have the right to know the purposes of the processing, the categories of data in question, the categories of recipients to whom the data is transferred, the criteria used to determine how long the data is kept and the rights you can exercise regarding your data.

7.3. Right to rectification

Inaccurate or incomplete personal data may be corrected at any time, on written request.

7.4. Right to erasure (right to be forgotten)

You also have the right to have your personal data erased in the following circumstances:

  • Your personal data is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected;
  • You withdraw your consent for the data to be processed and there is no other legal basis for the processing;
  • You have legitimately exercised your right to object;
  • Your data has been processed unlawfully;
  • Your data must be deleted to comply with a legal obligation.

As the erasure of data is primarily a matter of visibility, it is possible that erased data may still be kept temporarily.

7.5. Right to limit the processing of your data

In certain cases, you have the right to request the restricted processing of your personal data, particularly in the event of a dispute as to the accuracy of the data, if the data is required in the context of legal proceedings or for the time necessary for Clean Power to verify that you can legitimately exercise your right to erasure.

7.6. Right to object

You also have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes. Clean Power will no longer process your personal data, unless it can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for doing so which override your right to object.

7.7. Right to the portability of data

You have the right to obtain all the personal data you have provided us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. At your request, this data may be transferred to another service provider, unless this is technically impossible.

7.8. Right to withdraw your consent

You may withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data, such as for direct marketing purposes, at any time.


To exercise your rights, you must send us a written request and proof of identity by registered letter to Clean Power SA, rue Emile Francqui 2, 1435 Mont-Saint-Guibert or by email: [email protected]. We will respond as soon as possible, no later than one (1) month after receipt of your request.


If you are not satisfied with the way your personal data has been processed by Clean Power, you have the right to make a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (
